West Shore RCMP Community Policing Advisory Committee - Call for Grant Proposals

The West Shore RCMP Community Policing Advisory Committee (CPAC) are accepting applications for funding for organizations and schools in the West Shore area to develop projects or initiatives focused on the prevention of drug and alcohol use, reducing crime and promoting public safety. Programs must be community based and not for profit.
Proposal Requirements:
West Shore CPAC
will give preference to projects which:
- Are tailored to meet the needs of a specific school or community;
- Involve youth, seniors or at risk populations;
- Promote healthy choices and lifestyle;
- Promote public safety.
You may decide to
have just one activity or hold several events throughout the year. All activities must be completed and the receipts
submitted as per the Call for Proposals document.
Proof of Expenditures:
Once your event,
activity or service have been completed, please submit receipts showing the exact
use of the funding received within two months of your project being completed. If receipts are not received, you will not be
eligible for future funding. In some
cases, you may be asked to attend and provide presentation in person to the
West Shore CPAC.
Submission Deadlines & Instructions:
The West Shore
CPAC sub-committee meets twice per year, thus the applications are reviewed two
times per year. Deadlines are as
follows:
- The last Friday of February each year, by 4:00 p.m.
- The last Friday of September each year, by 4:00 p.m.
Submissions are reviewed March and October of each year. Successful applicants will be notified via email in the months of March and October.
