You are invited to a Public Open House about potential recreational cannabis uses in the Town of View Royal.

The Town currently prohibits the production, distribution, sale, and home growing of recreational cannabis products. This is the first step in a public engagement program to consider how the Town might address recreational cannabis uses through tools like zoning and the business license process.

The Town will present a variety of material about options for potentially permitting some or all of those uses. More importantly, the Town will listen to everyone who attends and has questions, concerns, or opinions on the matter.

If you’re an interested retailer or a business owner in View Royal, the industry-focused meeting will be more helpful. If you’re a member of the broader community, the community-focused meeting is more applicable to you. However, anyone is welcome to attend either meeting.
