Protective Services
Operating out of the Public Safety Building (333 Island Highway), the Protective Services Department includes emergency services and response to provide the highest level of life and property safety with caring professionalism through effective training, the delivery of public education, fire prevention, fire control, rescue services, and emergency management.
The Protective Services Department also includes Bylaw Compliance, which deals with bylaw issues such as parking, noise, truck route, unsightly premises and illegal dumping.
