Town of View Royal Invites Community Input on Land Use and Housing in Next Phase of OCP Engagement
February 26, 2025
View Royal, BC - The Town of View Royal is launching the next phase of public engagement for View Royal 2050, the update to the Town’s Official Community Plan (OCP). This phase will focus on the Community Growth Framework, which guides how and where View Royal will grow over the next 20 years. Share Your Input – Community Growth Survey
As part of this phase, the Town is also launching a Community Growth survey on March 8. This survey focuses on updating View Royal’s existing Community Growth Framework, which includes neighbourhood centres, community corridors, and the Town Centre—areas identified as likely to grow and change in the future.
The survey will gather feedback on important topics such as land use, building height, and density. What we hear will be used to inform the creation of land use scenarios. The survey will be open until 11:59 PM on March 31, 2025.
Why Your Input Matters
The OCP is a guiding document that helps shape the long-term vision for View Royal. It influences decisions on land use, transportation, parks, the environment, and more. The Town is committed to ensuring that community voices are reflected in this important update.
