Have Your Say on View Royal’s 2025 Budget

Budget season is here! Each year, the Town of View Royal develops a financial plan to fund essential services like emergency response, parks, infrastructure, and more.

The proposed 2025 budget includes funding for police, fire, and asset management, with a projected 9% to 11% average home property tax increase. To ensure future infrastructure needs are met, a 3.4% tax increase will go toward saving for future asset replacement. This is the Town’s Strategic Infrastructure Replacement Plan financial strategy to get to sustainable funding levels with a 1% annual tax increase and new property assessment revenue, estimated at 2.4% for 2025.
